According to the Government Decree No. 785-A dated July 18, 2013, “Sitronics Armenia” CJSC has been granted the status of the organizer of the Free Economic Zone. 🔗 Information on the official website of the RA Ministry of Economy

The activity of the FEZ operator is regulated by:

  • Decree No. 1521-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated October 13, 2011, along with its annexes.
  • The agreement signed on April 26, 2012 between the RA Ministry of Economy and Alliance FEZ CJSC on the establishment of the FEZ in the territories of RAO Mars CJSC and YerNIIMM CJSC.

📜 In February 2012, CJSC “Sitronics Armenia” signed an agreement with the Government of Armenia to obtain the status of FEZ operator. 🏢 The “ALLIANCE” FEZ was officially opened in July 2013.

📅 February 2012 – Sitronics Armenia CJSC signed an agreement with the Government of the Republic of Armenia to obtain the status of a free economic zone (FEZ) operator. 📅 July 2013 – official opening of the “ALLIANCE” FEZ.

🎯 Strategic Sectors and Authorized Activities of the “Alliance” FEZ

The “Alliance” Free Economic Zone, based on RAO Mars CJSC, focuses on the development of high-tech and innovation-driven industries. According to the government mandate, the following activities are permitted:

🔹 Electronics: production of electronic devices, microelectronics, and development of digital technologies
🔹 Precision engineering and instrument making
🔹 Pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology
🔹 Information technologies, including software development and IT solutions
🔹 Alternative energy and energy-saving technologies
🔹 Industrial design
🔹 Telecommunications: development and production of equipment, systems, and materials for data transmission
🔹 Other high-tech and science-intensive fields

📅 According to the Government Decree of December 15, 2014, companies implementing investment projects for manufacturing products that are not yet produced in other regions of Armenia are also eligible to register as residents within the FEZ territory of RAO Mars CJSC.

Preferential Regime

📌 From development to production — the FEZ preferential regime allows residents to allocate their production and research capacities across various sectors of the Free Economic Zone.

The FEZ Operator, under an agreement with the Government, provides:

🔒 24/7 security and video surveillance
📦 Logistics services (upon request), including storage of goods and cargo
🚛 Loading and unloading operations (road transport)
🚧 Dedicated platform for loading and unloading
🅿 Parking for staff and truck bays for freight transport
